I have been a librarian at Anaheim Public Library going on twelve years, and most of my experience is in helping patrons at the Adult Services Reference Desk. I also have some experience in the academic library setting, so I am very familiar with an array of Reference materials both in print and electronic resources. I find it interesting and educational to use reference sources for many patron inqueries. Because I have a curious nature, I enjoy reading non-fiction, listening to many podcasts while exercising, and watching true-crime mysteries, as well as comedies and drama movies.

Welcome to the Anaheim Public Library’s reference blog. I hope you will find the information and resources that you need here at the One-Stop Reference. Chances are, many of the resources or links we blog are from our patrons’ suggestions or needs. Sometimes, our colleagues stumble upon a treasure chest of resources and pass them on to us; of course, we’ll share them with you.
Who am I? My name is Tony Lam, and I am a Teen-Adult-Public Services librarian. Give or take, I have worked with the Anaheim Public Library (APL) system for 12 years. I earned my MLIS from San Jose State University (CA). In my spare time, I watch movies, read books, dabble with my garden, and eat until I’m in some sort of state of food coma. I guess I am a foodie at heart. I also maintain a personal blog, where I rave mainly about books, movies, and food.
